Eravikulam National Park :

So, you can see only high rolling slopes here. The highest peak is Anamudi (2690m). The forests you see here are commonly known as ‘shoals’ – evergreen tropical and sub tropical moist broadleaf forest. Strikingly charming birds such as black and orange Flycatcher, Nilgiri Pipit, Nilgiri wood pigeon and white-bellied shortwing can be seen at this place. Only a few buses of Forest Department operate inside the National Park. It remains closed for tourists during monsoons.
